Fourteen of Ten: Places I'd like to run

When I think about all of the places I've run, most of them haven't been that exciting. They are places where I ran because I happened to be there and I needed to run.  But if I had my way, I'd run in all of the places I'd love to get to know.  And there is no other way to really get to know a place than putting one foot in front of the other on it's land.  There is a common theme in these places: natural beauty. There is nothing like running down a long country road or a worn path with vivid green rising up at your feet. Knowing that here, in this moment, you are as close as you can get to heaven on earth, uncorrupted beauty, uincommon quiet. Mine not to take from, but to borrow for a few miles of breathless worship.
